Is the price for one, or two, bed platforms?

The price includes a platform for each of the twin beds in the trailer, installation instructions and all screws (and dowels for the Shippable version) needed. The only things you need are a few common handtools.

How are these attached to the factory mattress base?

They are secured using a row of self tapping wood screws through the platform slats. The row is arranged so the screws go into the wall that separates the interior and exterior storage bins underneath the bed platform.

What is the height of the bedrail? Will it press into my legs when I sit on the edge of the bed?

The bedrail only covers the bottom 2-1/4” of the mattress (3” overall visible height) and will remain well below your legs when sitting. No worries.

How much weight will these add to my trailer?

Adding these to each of your twin beds will add approximately 38.5 lbs (17.5kg) to your rig.

Do these interfere with access to the storage cabinets under the bed?

Not at all. In fact, you may actually find it easier to access these compartments.

I do not see the “Classic“ models listed. Are these platforms compatible with the headrest?

Unfortunately they are not compatible with the Classic. The good news here is the Classic does not have the same support problems as the other models because their 36” mattress is on top of a 36” base.

Do you make these for the queen beds as well?

At this time, I do not. Sorry.
